This work is the way I honor the beauty and mystery of the world and is the medium through which I engage issues of social justice, environmental loss, and preservation.

The enduring beauty of the natural world inspires and leads me. I am especially connected to and grateful for the glaciers and wild valleys of the North Cascade mountains in Washington State, the expansive skies and Ponderosa Pine forests of Arizona's Mogollon Highlands, the lush and mysterious lowcountry of South Carolina, and the sweet fields, forests, and shorelines of New England. I split my time between studios in Prescott Arizona and Bellingham, Washington.

Like many artists, I have done a lot of different  "day jobs" and my path to this work has been interestingly crooked. My process in the studio is informed and inspired by time spent as a park ranger, teacher, gallery manager, environmental advocate, and mother. Take a look at my resume by clicking here.
